Non-profit association in Oberasbach

People of Nordbayern, working side by side.

Freunde SEK Nordbayern e.V. is a registered, non-profit association. We bring members and neighbours together, share knowledge and help one another with practical support, events and shared projects.

An association built on people showing up for each other

Freunde SEK Nordbayern e.V. exists so that people in our region have a dependable place to meet, ask questions and get things done together.

We are a registered association (eingetragener Verein) with our home in Oberasbach, in the north of Bavaria. Like every association, we are shaped by the people who take part: members who organise meetings, share what they know and look after newcomers.

Our work is non-profit. Whatever the association does is meant to benefit its members and the wider community, not to generate returns for anyone. That keeps our priorities simple: be useful, be open, and be easy to reach.

We keep our activities practical. Some are social, some are educational and some are about lending a hand. All of them start from the same idea: a community is stronger when its members know each other.

Our purpose
Bring people together, share knowledge and support one another in everyday matters.
How we work
Through volunteer effort, open communication and decisions that involve our members.
Where we are
Gutzberger Str. 5, 90522 Oberasbach, with activities across Nordbayern.

Why people join and stay

An association is only as good as the experience of taking part in it. These are the principles we hold ourselves to.

Ask about membership
  • Non-profit by purpose

Our work is aimed at members and the community. Money and effort go into activities, not into private gain.

  • Local and approachable

We are based in Oberasbach and active across Nordbayern. You will deal with real people who live nearby.

  • Open and transparent

As a registered association, we operate with clear rules and involve members in how the association is run.

  • Shared effort

Everyone contributes what they can, whether that is time, ideas or simply showing up. No contribution is too small.

  • Easy to reach

Our address and email are public, and every message is read by a member of the association.
